Santino Ferrucci, IndyCar Series driver with Dale Coyne Racing, was joined by Juncos Racing Indy Lights drivers Rinus VeeKay, and Rasmus Lindh, and Juncos’ Indy Pro 2000 driver Sting Ray Robb at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in Saint Louis. In full race suits, they made the stop to visit over 25 individual patient’s rooms to handout Racing For Kids hats and Bommarito 500 hats and sunglasses donated by Bommarito Auto Group. Among the day’s highlights was a young patient in the dialysis unit connecting with Santino. She asked him many questions about the car and racing. Santino provided thoughtful answers emphasizing the importance of math and science in racing. The drivers spit into 3 groups visiting the Intensive Care Unit, TCU, Dialysis, Oncology Unit, and the play room.
