Canadian sportscar racers Peter Hanson and Spencer Deumer along with Chase Hanchar of Pfaff Motorsports, will participate in a Racing For Kids’ visit to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital on August 13, 2026. The popular racers will engage with the young patients, who will be invited to sit in their race cars. The drivers will sign autographs and pose for photos. The cars at the event will include a Subaru BRZ, a Miata Cup race car and a Lamborghini Gallardo IMSA show car. Each child will receive a Racing For Kids backpack full of goodies including Lego, a colouring book with crayons, sunglasses, Wiki Sticks, a key chain and a colourful Racing For Kids baseball hat.
During the program Racing For Kids CEO Pat Wright, racer Hanson and Canadian entrepreneur, Doug Fregin, will present Holland Bloorview with a $30,000 check to support the hospital’s Together We Dare campaign to help shape the future of disability health care for kids.
