Racing For Kids visited young patients and their families at Toronto’s Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in a special outdoor program on Tuesday, July 15.

Canadian sportscar racer Peter Hanson & rookie racer Francesco Esposito engaged the young patients, signed autographs, talked about their experiences on the race track, and welcomed all to sit in their race cars. Each child received a Racing For Kids backpack full of goodies which included Legos, coloring books, crayons, sunglasses, Wiki Sticks, race cars and a colorful Racing For Kids hat.


During the two hour program Racing For Kids CEO Pat Wright, racer Hanson and Canadian businessman and philanthropist, Doug Fregin, presented Holland Bloorview executives with a $25,000 check to support the hospital’s critical and inventive rehabilitation programs.
