What: Popular NTT INDYCAR Series driver Santino Ferrucci will visit patients at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg on Thursday, March 2, leading up to the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Ferrucci will drive the #14 Dallara Chevrolet for AJ Foyt Racing in Sunday’s race. Accompanying Ferrucci will be Joey Brienza, who drives the #91 Exclusive Autosport car in the USF Pro 2000 Series. Racing For Kids is sponsoring the visit and the Executive Director and CEO J. Patrick Wright will also be on hand to escort the team.
The group will visit patients in the hospital playroom followed by bedside visits. They will hand out Racing For Kids caps, sign autographs, pose for photos and talk about racing at St. Petersburg.
